Kaudiyala Rafters Camp

GMVN conducts river rafting courses at Kaudiyala. They provide rafts, equipment, river side camping items besides all safety precautions and trained guides who make the sport a pleasure. Nestled amongst the dense forest on the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway at an altitude of 480 mts., here the mighty waters of Ganga are ideal for white water rafting. There is also ample opportunity to view wildlife in its natural habitat. Nature walks along the river is a real treat and for adventure lovers rock climbing can be arranged.

Accommodation 

GMVN has developed Kaudiyala as a rafters camp. Tented accommodation for 40 persons is available with dinning hall/restaurant. For reservations contact : The Manager, GMVN, Tourism and Rafting Camp, Kaudiyala (vyasi via Rishikesh), district Tehri Garhwal, U.P. India.

Road : Local Transport Union and State Transport buses ply regularly. Kaudiyala is from : Dehradun (80 kms.), Haridwar (57 kms.), Rishikesh (35 kms.) & Delhi (260 kms.)

Rail : rishikesh is the nearest railhead.

Air : Jolly Grant is the nearest airport (55 kms.).

Rescue : Every raft for river running is equipped with a first aid box and other essential life saving devices which are essential as part of rafting sports. All rafting companies have a panel of doctors in case of any eventuality.
