Bhatwari
On the Rishikesh-Gangotri route. Bhatwari is 27 kms from Uttarkashi. termed as a slipping stone for apid traders. Bhatwari plavs host to many
intersting, twisting trekkable entwined paths. One such bridle path coming from
Gangotri branches off from Bhatwari to Sri Kedarnath. In the times of
yore, this was the main route for pilgrims and trekking enthusiasts going from Gangotri to Kedarnath.

Dayra Bugyal :
The road to Dayra Bugyal branches of about 16 kms from Bhatwani via Raikal & 18 kms via Barsu village. Vehicle can go upto village Barsu & Railhal from where one has to trek to Dayara Bugyal. Dayara Bugyal is situated at an elevation of about 3048 mts. this vast meadones is second to none in natural beauty During winter. It provides excelent Ski slops.
Gangnani : 12 kms from Bhatwari on the Rishikesh Gangotri highway. Gangnani is a little paradise enriched with pease, solitude and tranquil spots for meditation. To top thern all. there are hot water springs, where on bathe to relax and recharge. From Uttarkashi to Gangnani there are several local buses plying daily. Four private accomodation are available.
Harsil : It is 43 kms from Bhatwari on the Rishikesh - Gangotri route Harsil is situated in enchanting valley on the bank of river Bhagirathi at an elevation of 2620
mts above sea level this sylvan hamlet is famous for its natural beauty and delicious apple there is a tourist rest house. From Uttarbashi tc Harsil buses anc jeeps are plying regularly.
